MCN Launches Translation Please

Staff -- Multichannel News, 9/17/2000 8:00:00 PM

New York-Beginning with this issue, Leslie Ellis will be writing an every-other-week column, "Translation Please," for "Inside Broadband," Multichannel News' expanded technology section.

Ellis, who most recently was a senior technology analyst at Paul Kagan Associates Inc., is now an independent analyst, columnist and author.

Prior to her stint at Kagan, Leslie had been the senior broadband editor at Multichannel News for four years. Before that, she worked for CED, a sister publication to Multichannel News, for four years. She has worked in the cable industry since 1987.

"We are delighted to have Leslie return to our camp," Multichannel News editorial director and editor in chief Marianne Paskowski said. "Leslie has this uncanny ability to demystify tech and make it accessible and, yes, even fun."

Ellis, who welcomes input and questions for future column ideas, can be reached at Ellis299@aol.com.
