Fox Sports Net reached a two-year agreement with the National Academy of
Television Arts & Sciences to televise the Sports Emmy Awards.
The two-hour television specials will be produced and presented by the
network's Best Damn Sports Show Period.
FSN will televise the 24th Sports Emmy Awards, slated for April 21 in New
York, April 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (local times).
Joe Buck -- Fox Sports' lead play-by-play voice for the National Football
League and Major League Baseball, and a two-time Emmy winner himself -- will
host the evening's festivities, along with BDSSP cast members Tom Arnold,
Chris Rose and Michael Irvin.
