AT&T Broadband
AT&T Broadband named Joe Stackhouse senior vice president for the greater Chicago market. Stackhouse will be responsible for all operations supporting the delivery of local telephone service, high-speed cable Internet access and video entertainment services in the market.
CABLEready
Sabrina Sanchez was promoted to director of program marketing for CABLEready. Sanchez's responsibilities will include CABLEready's sales in Latin America, Spain and Protugal and the gathering of research and ratings material related to the company's programming.
Cartoon Network
Cartoon Network appointed Laurie Goldberg senior vice president of public relations. In addition to her publicity duties for Cartoon and Boomerang, Goldberg will supervise the national media relations campaign for the release of the network's Powerpuff Girls feature film.
Convergent
Surya Panditi was named president and CEO of Convergent Networks Inc. Panditi succedds John Thibault who will remain on the company's board of directors.
Cox
Cox Communications Inc. named Mark Lipford Las Vegas vice president and general manager, and Fritz Hoehne was appointed vice president of sales and marketing for Las Vegas. Also, Cox Enterprises Inc. named Timothy O'Rourke associate general counsel for litigation.
CSG Systems
Peter Kalan was promoted to senior vice president and Sally Else was upgraded to senior vice president of product management for CSG Systems Inc.
Food
Food Network appointed Bruce Seidel vice president of acquisitions and program planning. Seidel previously served as director of scheduling for the network.
Fox Sports Net
Fox Sports Net tapped Wendell Foster as vice president of scheduling and operations. Foster will coordinate scheduling with Fox Sports Net's regional networks.
Hallmark
David Kenin was named executive vice president of programming for Hallmark Channel U.S. Kenin will oversee all areas of the channel's programming.
Insight
Charlie Dietz was named chief technology officer for Insight Communications Co. Dietz has served as senior vice president of engineering for the company since 1996.
NCTC
The National Cable Television Cooperative appointed Scott Abbott vice president of programming and national accounts. NCTC also named Dan Mulvenon vice president of member services and public relations.
OLN
Pamela Jensen and Patrick Dodd were promoted to division vice presidents for Outdoor Life Network's affiliate sales department. Jensen will be responsible for the eastern half of the United States, while Dodd will cover the western half of the country.
SBCA
The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association announced the promotion of six staff members: James Ashurst to senior director of communications; Alex Breckon to senior director of business development; Eric Chang to senior marketing director; Brian Lynch to manager of SkyTRENDS programs; Amy Miller to exhibits manager; and Joy O'Brien to manager of government affairs.
Scientific-Atlanta
Michael Harney was named corporate senior vice president and general manager of subscriber networks for Scientific-Atlanta Inc. The company also appointed Pat Tylka as corporate senior vice president and president of worldwide sales regions.
Sundance
Sundance Channel appointed Paola Freccero to senior vice president of film programming. Kirk Iwanowski was named senior vice president of marketing.
TBS
Turner Broadcasting System Inc. promoted Michael Watchulonis to executive producer and director for TBS Superstation's public affairs department. Watchulonis will oversee the day-to-day operations of the department.
Turner South
Jennifer Wysocki was promoted to executive producer for Turner South's Liars and Legends and Off the Menu at Commander's Palace.
Varsity
Amy Teter joined Varsity Entertainment as producer and sales representative. Teter previously worked as a producer on shows for HBO, MTV, Lifetime and other networks.
