ABC Cable
Jon Sayer has joined ABC Cable Networks Group's kids' advertising team as vice president, advertising sales and marketing, Midwest. He comes from World Wrestling Entertainment, where he was senior VP, integrated sales.
Comcast
Comcast Cable named Mike Belling director, direct sales operations, Midwest division.
The Philadelphia-based MSO also named David Williams senior director of customer service at the Internet protocol services support center serving customers in Detroit, Indianapolis and Independence, Mo. He had been director, Detroit West area call center in Plymouth, Mich.
Finally, Leo D'Agostini was named area fulfillment manager, Detroit East. He had been technical manager, Detroit East.
Discovery
Discovery Networks U.S. has named Emilio Pardo senior vice president, special projects. He comes from CityNet Telecommunications in Silver Spring, Md., where he was CEO and director.
Fox News
Brian Jones has joined Fox News Channel as vice president of news, responsible for new product and business development. He comes from The McGraw-Hill Cos., where he was director of communications.
Also, Bob Finnerty was tapped as vice president, radio at Fox News. He had been a radio consultant to the programmer.
IBS
Integrated Broadband Services Inc. an engineering and integration firm specializing in design and deployment of advanced services for broadband operators, has named Bill Lee, vice president of sales and marketing. He comes from Peregrine Communications, where he was their regional sales manager.
INSP
The Inspiration Networks had tapped Judson Jackson as producer of the new original daily show Inspiration Today! He comes from BelmontMills Entertainment in Charlotte, N.C.
Also, LeAnne Burnett Morse joined INSP as a producer/writer for Inspiration Today! She most recently worked as producer/writer with Showmaker Productions, Nashville.
INSP also tapped Kari Gibbs as ministry projects manager/administrator. She had been VP, sales and marketing at Revelation Media in Danville, Calif.
Tennis Channel
Lisa D. Brown has joined the distribution and affiliate marketing team at The Tennis Channel as director, affiliate marketing. She comes from ABC Cable Networks Group, where she was consumer marketing manager for SoapNet.
TCM
Turner Classic Movies has elevated Richard Steiner to managing director, interactive. He had been director.
TV Guide
Doug Yates was named senior vice president, marketing for the TV Guide Television Group. He comes from ABC Family Channel, where he was senior VP, marketing and creative services.
WorldLink
Media-sales firm WorldLink has elevated Jim Miller to senior account executive, responsible for direct-response spot sales.
