Oxygen will deliver an original comedy block Fridays in
primetime this fall, replacing its movie lineup as a weekend kicker.
Oxygen, which made the announcement at the Television Critics Association
summer press tour in Hollywood, said hidden-camera skein Girls Behaving
Badly, now in its third season, will kick off the block, bowing Oct. 17 at
8 p.m.
Another Badly episode at 9 p.m. sandwiches newcomer Life’s a
Bitch, an animated series tracking 30-somethings in Los Angeles.
At 9:30 p.m. Hey Monie, a joint animated production with Black Entertainment Television,
chronicles the life of an African-American woman with a career, complex family
and blunt best friend.
The second season of Talk Sex with Sue Johanson is slated for 10
p.m., followed by The Ellen DeGeneres Show at 11 p.m.
