Hancock Fabrics Gets Smith’s John Hancock

Laurie Smith, of The Learning Channel’s Trading Spaces, has reached a designing deal with Hancock Fabrics Inc.
Smith will create several exclusive product lines for Hancock’s fabric and home-decor stores, the company said Thursday.
Hancock added that the first Smith-designed products will hit its store shelves in the first quarter of 2005.
