Cartoon Adds Ghost Encounters

By Multi Channel News Staff -- Multichannel News, 6/20/2003 1:00:00 PM

Fans of animated talk-show host Space Ghost should get ready for interviews with six new guests this fall.

After a two-year production hiatus, Cartoon Network will bow a half-dozen new Space Ghost Coast to Coast episodes on its "Adult Swim" late-night block, starting Nov. 23.

Network officials said production is currently under way on shows that will feature comedian Dennis Miller and Survivor host Jeff Probst.

And, network executives said, after years of begging and pleading, William Shatner will also appear in an upcoming episode.

To date, Cartoon has aired 89 original installments of the series, which bowed April 14, 1994, with diet and fitness queen Susan Powter, Kevin Meaney and The Bee Gees.
