Discovery HD Theater has been added to Comcast Corp.’s HDTV lineup in the Dallas metropolitan area.
The Discovery Networks U.S. HD service is now available to more than 500,000 Comcast homes in the Metroplex, as long as they have HD-capable sets and HD-enabled digital set-tops from the operator.
Discovery HD Theater joins local channels KERA (PBS), WFAA-TV (ABC), KTVT-TV (CBS), KXAS-TV (NBC) and enhanced wide-screen digital programming from Fox, as well as In Demand’s INHD and INHD2, Home Box Office, Showtime, Cinemax and ESPN HD.
