Douglas Holloway, USA Network's president of network distribution and affiliate relations, will be a co-honoree at the National Association for Minorities in Communications' holiday benefit gala this December in New York.
Ember Media president Clayton Banks, a past NAMIC president, will be the other co-honoree.
The event, staged by NAMIC's New York chapter Dec. 9, will mark its 10th anniversary this time around. The chapter announced its gala honorees Thursday afternoon.
NAMIC's "Digital Bridge Project" initiative -- providing people of color access to computers, software and Internet training -- will be the beneficiary of funds raised through the gala. About 500 people are expected to attend.
Rainbow Media Holdings Inc. entertainment-services president Kathleen Dore and Insight Communications Co. Inc. CEO Michael Willner will serve as honorary co-chairpersons.
