Koverman Joins TV Guide

Cable-TV veteran Danila Koverman has been named senior vice president of programming and production for the TV Guide Television Group, a newly created position, officials said Monday.
In her new job, Koverman will oversee all aspects of programming and production for TV Guide Channel, including content development, scheduling and talent. In addition, she will lead the development and packaging of TV Guide Channel programming and promotional elements for integration within TV Guide’s interactive program guide and on-demand applications.
Koverman -- a member of the team that launched E! Entertainment Television’s spinoff, Style, in 1998 -- most recently was with Galan Entertainment, where she was executive producer for La Cenicienta, a reality show produced for Telemundo Communications Group Inc.
Koverman will be based in Los Angeles and will report to Ian Aaron, president of Gemstar-TV Guide International Inc.’s TV Guide Television Group. That division includes TV Guide Channel, TV Guide Interactive and TV Guide International.
