Baumgartner Joins Multichannel News

Multichannel News is pleased to announce that Jeff Baumgartner has joined the newspaper as broadband editor.

Baumgartner comes from Multichannel News' sister publication, CED, where he was senior editor covering technology for that monthly magazine and its daily Web site.

Prior to joining CED, Baumgartner was senior editor for CableFAX Daily. Before that, he worked in various writing positions for Encore Media Group and Jones Education Networks.

"We are pleased to have Jeff-who knows his way around cable, Denver and technology circles-help us to fine-tune our coverage for our readers' ever-changing needs," Multichannel News editor in chief Marianne Paskowski said.

Baumgartner holds a bachelor's of arts degree in technical journalism from Colorado State University.
