Multichannel News is pleased to announce that Jeff Baumgartner has joined the newspaper as broadband editor.
Baumgartner comes from Multichannel News' sister publication, CED, where he was senior editor covering technology for that monthly magazine and its daily Web site.
Prior to joining CED, Baumgartner was senior editor for CableFAX Daily. Before that, he worked in various writing positions for Encore Media Group and Jones Education Networks.

Baumgartner holds a bachelor's of arts degree in technical journalism from Colorado State University.
