Movielink, the Internet pay-per-view delivery company owned by five Hollywood studios, announced that it will use IBM Corp. server, storage and software technology when it debuts in November.

IBM will store Movielink movies at its centralized facility in New Jersey. Still to be announced by Movielink: its digital-rights-management and video-player partner. The company is working to deliver its movies in MPEG-4 (Moving Picture Expert Group).

Movielink is owned by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc., Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal Studios and Warner Bros.

Separately, CinemaNow said it will begin offering Warner Bros. on its Internet movie-distribution service.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone will be available in the traditional PPV window for $3.99 for a 24-hour access, CinemaNow said. Classic titles will be available for $2.99.
