Geraldo Rivera will open the inaugural "Premios Fox Sports" awards show, Fox Sports en Español announced Friday.
The awards are the first to honor Hispanic and Latin American athletes in a variety of categories including soccer, baseball, motor sports, tennis and golf, the network said.
Rivera will open the evening's ceremonies by introducing David Sternberg, general manager of Fox Sports en Español and Fox Sports Latin America.
Premios Fox Sports is being presented Dec. 17 at the New Radisson Hotel in Miami, and it will be televised on Fox Sports en Español Sunday, Dec. 21 at 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST.
