NFL Network will air a total of 52 preseason National Football League games this season, including eight live telecasts.
The only exhibition contests that the league’s cable service will not air are the 13 televised nationally by the NFL’s other network partners -- CBS, ESPN, Fox and NBC.
The network’s coverage will kick off with the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game Aug. 5, pitting the New Orleans Saints against the Pittsburgh Steelers from Canton, Ohio. NFL Network’s slate will also include live doubleheaders Saturday, Aug. 25, and Thursday, Aug. 30:
The network’s full preseason schedule will be available on NFL.com.
