By Linda Haugsted -- Multichannel News, 2/25/2008 12:05:00 PM

TV Guide Broadband, the advertising-supported online video service of TV Guide Network, has announced production agreements with two firms which will create original programming for the site.

Rhett & Link, musical comedians best known for hosting The CW’s primetime series Online Nation, will produce three original music videos for TV Guide Broadband. The first video from that deal debuted Monday at http://www.youtube.com/tvguide.

The other agreement was signed with Nick Davis Productions for a 10-part webisode series to debut in late April, titled Making News .. This Just In. This will follow up on the cast of the linear network’s series Making News: Texas Style. The webisodes are also designed to build interest in the series’ second season. Making News: Savannah Style.

The terms of the two production deals were not disclosed.

TV Guide Broadband is distributed on TVGuide.com, YouTube, Veoh, AOL Video, Comcast’s The Fan and other streaming video sites.
