America Online Inc.’s video search engine has added rich-site-summary feeds from MTV Networks’ programming services.
Video content from the Web sites of Country Music Television, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV: Music Television, MTV2, mtvU, The N, Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite, Nick Jr., Nicktoons, Noggin, Spike TV, TV Land and VH1 is now accessible through AOL.com’s (www.aol.com) video-on-demand tab.
Video- and audio-search engines Singingfish (www.singingfish.com) will also feature MTVN content, AOL said.
“From The Daily Show [with Jon Stewart] and Lazytown to Unplugged and My Fair Brady, MTV Networks' library of video programming is vast and in-demand," MTVN chief digital officer Jason Hirschhorn said in a prepared statement.
“Through AOL Video Search, consumers now have access to some of the most sought-after and beloved programming available on the Web,” he added. “This extends our quest for ubiquity and will help to drive traffic to our destinations.”
