Comcast Premieres ReelzChannel in N.J.

"Everything about Movies, 24/7" Comes To Garden State

Comcast Thursday launched ReelzChannel, which is dedicated to “Everything about Movies, 24/7,” throughout New Jersey on its Digital Classic lineup, channel 161. 

"We’re thrilled to be the first cable provider in New Jersey to launch ReelzChannel," Marge Jackson, region vice president of marketing and sales for Comcast Cable in New Jersey, said in a prepared statement. “The addition of ReelzChannel further demonstrates our commitment to providing our customers with the best choices for movies and more.”

In addition to the TV network, ReelzChannel’s multi-platform services include its web site, www.ReelzChannel.com, where visitors can stay connected to the most current movie news, participate in online contests and surveys, voice their opinions, and get information on all the current releases in all windows of distribution.

Comcast has 1.4 million subscribers in the Garden State.

  in the meantime, no new HD channel additions in NJ for God-knows how long.... No Discovery-HD, USA-HD, CNN-HD, Food-HD, A&E-HD, HGTV-HD, SNY-HD, etc, etc, etc... a paltry 23 total HD channels!
