Cabler Looks to Eliminate Hold Time for Subscribers Calling In

Time Warner Cable has entered into a formalized partnership with Virtual Hold Technology Inc. for services that help eliminate hold time for consumers dialing into call centers, according to the vendor.
Virtual Hold software is currently installed in 10 Time Warner divisions. The product tells inbound callers the estimated wait time to talk to a live operator and allows them the choice to remain on hold or receive a call-back when it’s their turn in the queue.
