Lifetime’s Army Wives Stays Strong

Series Tops Ad-Supported Cable Networks Sunday Night

Lifetime Television’s Army Wives outperformed more than 70 ad-supported cable networks Sunday night to rank as the No. 1 primetime program among overall viewers, households and women 18-49 and 25-54.

The cumulative audience for all telecasts since the June 3 premiere of Army Wives has now reached more than 39 million total viewers.

Army Wives, which airs at 10 p.m., on June 17 was: No. 1 among women 18-49 with a 2.4 rating, representing 1.3 million viewers; No. 1 in viewers two and older with 3.8 million; No. 1 in households with a 3.1 rating; and No. 1 among women 25-54 with a 2.6 rating, representing 1.4 million viewers

This Sunday, Lifetime will air a marathon of the series’ first three episodes from 7 p.m.-10 p.m., leading into an all-new episode at 10 p.m.
