ABC Family To Ring In 2009 With Fresh 'American Teenager' Episodes
Third Season Of 'Kyle XY' Also Ready For January Premiere

With the its perennial “25 Days of Christmas” stunt serving as a promotional platform, ABC Family will premiere fresh installments of The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Kyle XY early next year.
ABC Family’s breakout summer series The Secret Life of the American Teenager is scheduled to return on Jan 5 at 8 p.m. with the second half of its first campaign, while the third season of Kyle XY debuts on Jan. 12 at 9 p.m. with the first of 10 installments.
The Secret Life of the American Teenager is ABC Family’s No. 1 original series of all-time across the board, averaging 4 million total viewers per episode this summer, and was tops its time slot in all of cable against key demos. The series’ Sept. 9 rookie mid-season finale delivered 5 million total viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research live + seven-day data, making it the network’s best original series telecast ever.

Kyle XY is my favorite show! I can't wait for season 3 to start! Hopefully we can get more than just 10 episodes.
