Style Gives 'Split Ends' A Third-Season Appointment
Reality TV Series Built Around Hairdressers with "Attitude"

Style Network has renewed its hair-salon reality series Split Ends for a third season, officials said Thursday.
Offering a unique look at the hair business, the unscripted weekly series shows what happens when two very different hairstylists, armed with their blow dryers and "attitude," swap shops and discover what it's like to walk in the other's shoes. Production for the new season of Split Ends has begun, with an anticipated spring premiere.
Split Ends is currently recruiting participants in 20 cities across the country, from New York to Minneapolis to Chicago to Los Angeles. During each episode, hairstylists from opposite ends of the spectrum -- from top celebrity stylists to small town hairdressers -- are taken out of their comfort zones, switching roles and settings to the complete surprise of their unsuspecting clients and co-workers.
Split Ends was developed by Style Network in collaboration with 44 Blue Productions. Stephanie Drachkovitch, Rasha Drachkovitch and Glenn Meehan of 44 Blue executive produce the series with Style's current programming senior director, Renee G. Simon.

You did a show in my hometown (I moved away) and I'd love to see it. It was a shop in Mabank,Texas. Is there anyway to view it online?
Thank You, Ann Shirley

hi i use to like the show. being in the field of cosmo. i felt i ahd something to relate to but since you feel that only tony and a whole group of repeaters that has been on more than 4 episodes is what the show about, its not fun to watch anymore. you have interviewed salons here in ohio and my salon was chosen for a casting call, we are located in a small village of chagrin falls and i dnt knw what it is your looking for but the salon you had on from the cleveland ,mayfield area was a mess. what do you really want your cast members to get from the experience. i'm tired of looking at the same people and there are thousands of salons to choose licenced professionals from. thank you.... Let me first start by saying, "I am from West Virginia". I was appalled at the attitude of H.MILLS from Las Vegas, Nevada which was on display via the episode of Split Ends which aired 08/08. This girl comes off as trying to be such a "bad ass"...she describes it as being BLUNT....She just appeared ignorant and sad. When she was reading her letter to find out where she was going to be sent, she made the comment that she was SO AFRAID that she would end up in a HOBO salon in WEST VIRGINIA! Let me tell you that we wouldn't tolerate her or her overactive mouth here.. West Virginians take more pride in themselves than she ever thought about having...acting that silly and childish on network television...she's the HOBO. Style could benefit from having more intelligent people participate on their programs....I'll never watch it again...I'm sure of that!
