Showtime Enters Xtreme Combat Ring

Showtime will debut Elite Xtreme Combat (EliteXC) with a live event Feb. 10 at 10 p.m. (EST/PST) from the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven, Miss.

EliteXC was formed by Showtime Networks and Pro Elite to stage world-class live mixed-martial-arts events.

The main event on the network’s debut telecast will pit MMA legend Frank Shamrock against world-renowned Brazilian jiu-jitsu pioneer Renzo Gracie. EliteXC will stream the nontelevised undercard fights live online.
