Starting Tuesday, Verizon Wireless subscribers will be able to watch full-length, commercial-free episodes of CBS’s Late Show with David Letterman and The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson on the mobile carrier’s V CAST Video service.
It’s the first full-length TV programming Verizon Wireless is offering through its video-on-demand service, which until now has comprised short clips and promotional content.
Verizon Wireless will offer both CBS late-night programs the day after their broadcast, without any ads. The programs will be available to V CAST subscribers until the following night’s broadcasts replace them. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
V CAST costs $15 for a monthly subscription, or $3 for 24-hour use.
Separately, Verizon Wireless also offers access to live CBS programming -- plus content from ESPN, Fox, NBC and MTV Networks -- as part of V CAST Mobile TV, which costs $13 to $25 per month.
