Discovery Elevates McKillop

David McKillop has been promoted to vice president of production at Discovery Channel.

McKillop had been senior executive producer.

In his new role, he will be responsible for day-to-day management of the production team, process and budget, overseeing many of the network’s top specials and series, as well as current-affairs documentaries and live events.

He continues to report to senior VP of programming and development Abby Greensfelder.
