Current TV announced a collaborative partnership with e-mail-magazine publisher Flavorpill.
The initiative will tap Flavorpill’s 500,000 subscribers to create short videos, or “pods,” lasting two minutes to seven minutes, about cultural happenings, and upload them to Current’s Web site (www.current.tv/flavorpill).
The videos voted the best will run on the linear network.
“This partnership between Current and Flavorpill represents an opportunity for a truly unique artistic and cultural community to join us in creating a conversation on television,” Current vice president of marketing and vanguard ideas Karl Carter said in a prepared statement.
