Dish Adds TuTv in Puerto Rico
Three Spanish-Language Channels Join DishLATINO Package

TuTv and EchoStar Communications reached an agreement that will extend the availability of three Spanish-language channels to current and future subscribers to its DishLATINO packages in Puerto Rico.
Starting today, De Película, De Película Clásico and Telehit are among the more than 30 Spanish-language channels available to DishLATINO customers in Puerto Rico.
De Película is currently the No. 1-rated movie channel in Mexico, featuring a wide variety of films drawn from the largest library of Spanish-language films in the world. De Película Clásico features films from Mexico’s “Golden Era” of filmmaking that represent a central part of Hispanic cultural heritage. Telehit is a popular, trend-setting channel for Latino youth with a hip, urban programming sensibility featuring live, original programming including news, celebrity interviews, reality shows, music videos and live concerts.
“Dish is committed to bringing the highest-quality Spanish-language channels to our customers,” senior vice president of programming Eric Sahl said in a prepared statement. “We are glad that through the agreement with TuTv, we will be able to provide viewers in Puerto Rico with even more Spanish-language content.”
TuTv is a Grupo Televisa and Univision Communications joint venture.
De Película and De Película Clásico will appear on channels 862 and 863, while Telehit is available on channel 868.
Dish offers more than 30 Spanish-language channels in each of its DishLATINO programming packages.
