AT&T Tuesday launched its U-verse TV service in the Los Angeles area; the Riverside, Calif., area; and Ventura County, also in California.
The telco won a statewide franchise to offer video services in March, and in Los Angeles, it is targeting Time Warner Cable’s system, which has been battling customer-service issues.
AT&T detailed exact areas where U-verse TV is currently available:
• In the Los Angeles area: parts of the Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana metropolitan statistical area, including Altadena, Anaheim, Burbank, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Glendale, Laguna Niguel, Orange County, Santa Ana, Santa Clarita and Tustin.
• In the Riverside area: parts of the Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario MSA, including the city of Riverside, County of Riverside, Corona and Norco.
• In Ventura County: parts of the Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura MSA, including Simi Valley.

Hi Mark,
Did you have att uverse issues as well? Price is okay but my volume goes out here and there. And have also stayed with them because I don''t have to have a contract. That was a plus for me. But recently they extremely messed up my account and were charging me double. I moved from one unit in same complex to another, how lame you can''t keep your same acct. Well idiots forgot to cancel my first account and all along I had been paying the origianl. I didn''t not get a new bill until August, my other service was cancelled July 4rth. It took 5 customer service reps and a supervisor to fix, that is if they did. We''ll see come my November bill. Wish me luck.
I had Direct TV and loved it, they were great. Too bad there was a tree in the way and complex would not allow satellite on roof, that''s when we went for att uverse.

I left Time Warner for ATT UVerse. It was so bad, that I left for DirectTV. If you want to know more, drop me a line.
