DeGeneres Hosts TBS Variety Special
'Ellen's Really Big Show' Taped as Part of The Comedy Festival

Emmy-winning talk show host and comedian Ellen DeGeneres will look to be the hostess with the most laughs when she heads an upcoming variety show for TBS in November.
The two-hour variety special Ellen’s Really Big Show, featuring performances from the worlds of comedy and music, will be shot as part as part of HBO and AEG’s Live’s The Comedy Festival, which will take at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas from Nov. 14-17.
TBS, which is a title sponsor of the festival, will then premiere the special Nov. 18.
“We are truly thrilled to be working with the enormously talented Ellen DeGeneres on her first TBS special,” said Michael Wright, senior vice president in charge of the Content Creation Group for TBS, TNT and TCM, in a statement. “It’s especially exciting to see her bring back the variety special format, which for decades provided television with some of its most memorable performances.”
