Writers Fundraiser To Aid Non-writers Hurt By Strike
Writers Behind 'Army Wives' And 'Field of Dreams' Presenting A Concert

The writers behind Army Wives and Field of Dreams are presenting a concert to raise money by non-writers hurt by the Writers Guild of America strike.
Wives scribe Katherine Fugate and Dreams writer Phil Alden Robinson will introduce the acts at Bandaid to benefit the Industry Support Fund created by the union.
Performers at the benefit scheduled Feb. 1 include singer/violinist Lili Haydn; Latin fusion group Incendio, rockers The Possibilities (Robinson plays with this group) and cabaret singer Shelly Goldenstein. WGA West president Patric Verrone and Screen Actors Guild president Alan Rosenberg are also scheduled to address the gathering at Busby's East in Los Angeles.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m and donations for the fund will be taken at the door.
