Special video-on-demand content supporting the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards is available now on Comcast, Cox and Time Warner Cable systems, part of a partnership to support the annual show.
The content, made available throughout the month prior to the awards on March 29 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, includes episodes of nominated content such as SpongeBob Squarepants and Avatar: The Last Airbender, a nominee's special and the VOD premiere of an Edgar & Ellen episode.
Easter weekend (March 22-23) the network and Time Warner will sponsor character appearances at Best Buy locations in Los Angeles (Culver City and West Hollywood), Cleveland and Cincinnati.
Screening parties will be held in four Cox markets, as well as Time Warner's Los Angeles market, BrightHouse Networks in Orlando and Comcast in Alexandria, Va. The screenings target members of the local Boys and Girls Clubs and attendees will view a live simulcast of the awards.
Local sales teams in 50 top television markets are competing for trip packages provided through Nickelodeon.
The 2008 Kids’ Choice Awards show will be hosted by Jack Black from Los Angeles.
