Suddenlink Communications said Tuesday that it has named Dan Spoelman as vice president of operations, reporting to chief operating officer Tom McMillin.
Spoelman is a 22-year cable veteran and most recently served as vice president and general manager of Charter Communications’ western Michigan operation. He started his cable career in 1986 with TCA Communications, working in two of the Texas markets now served by Suddenlink, Tyler and Amarillo.
Suddenlink, based in St. Louis, has about 1.3 million subscribers in North Carolina, West Virginia, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma and Florida.
