Fox Soccer Inks USL Pact

United Soccer Leagues First Division Matches, League Championship Games to Cable Network

Fox Soccer Channel acquired the exclusive English-language television rights to select Friday-night United Soccer Leagues First Division matches and all USL League Championship games.

The network will air 27 games annually through the league’s 2009 season.

Fox Soccer also acquired broadband and mobile rights for USL on FSC matches.

USL described itself as “the largest organization of elite-level soccer leagues in North America.”
