Suddenlink Communications has reached outside the cable industry to fill its newly created position of chief marketing and sales officer.
The telecommunications provider has hired Jerry Dow, most recently a member of the leadership team at Vanguard Car Rental, where he was responsible for marketing, advertising, reservations and e-commerce applications for both National and Alamo rental car brands. He has experience in multiple industries, including a stint in marketing and branding at United Airlines during the toughest time in that business' history: the post 9/11 bankruptcy.
Dow will work with members of the corporate and regional marketing teams on all marketing, promotion and sales activities for the company.
