New VP Adds Oversight For G4 To E!, Style Duties

By Linda Moss -- Multichannel News, 8/13/2007 10:06:00 AM

Comcast Entertainment Group has promoted Kim Vignola to vice president of research, overseeing all primary research efforts for E! Entertainment Television, The Style Network and G4.

Vignola previously served as director of research for E! and Style. Vignola will continue to report to Cyndi McClellan, senior vice president of program strategy and research.

In her new role, Vignola will be responsible for evaluating current programming and new program opportunities, as well as understanding the networks' brands and how audiences and users interact with the brands. Additionally, Vignola will develop and execute network strategies based on evolving behaviors and preferences in the new media landscape.

Prior to joining E! Networks, Vignola served as director of research and planning for MTV in New York. While at MTV, Vignola won a top case study prize at the 2005 CTAM Research Conference for a study on the multi-platform music experience and brand connections in the space. Vignola previously worked in advertising and direct marketing, and began her career producing industrial films.

Vignola attended a part-time MBA program at New York University's Stern School of Business with a concentration in marketing and international business and received her undergraduate degree from the University at Albany in New York.
