It hasn’t exactly been the best of times on Wall Street. The U.S. government’s seizure of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the bailout of AIG and the tales of woe involving Lehman Bros. and Merrill Lynch has sent New York and the financial world reeling.
Today at 5 p.m., CNBC’s Fast Money, televising live from the The Allen Room at the Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center in Manhattan, will turn its lens and focus on the future of Wall Street, exploring the reasons behind the recent collapse and the prospects for recovery.
Also, Fast Money, anchored by Dylan Ratigan, which usually originates NASDAQ Stock Market's street level MarketSite studio in New York's Times Square, will feature a live appearance from billionaire investor Carl Icahn, who will discuss the state of corporate governance in America and his take on the market turmoil.
