U-verse Comes To Tulsa

By Todd Spangler -- Multichannel News, 7/7/2008 3:39:00 AM

AT&T has launched U-verse TV, Internet and voice services in the Tulsa, Okla., area, where the telco will take on incumbent cable provider Cox Communications.

AT&T is currently taking orders for U-verse services in parts of Tulsa, Jenks and Owasso. The phone company said it will make U-verse services available to more homes throughout the area on an ongoing basis.

U-verse TV provides up to 320 digital channels, including more than 40 HD channels. AT&T charges an additional $10 per month for access to HD service.

AT&T offers five U-verse TV programming packages -- U100, U200, the popular U300 and U400 packages, plus U-family, described as a "family-friendly programming option" -- starting at $44 a month (not including taxes, fees and other monthly charges).
