Global satellite company Intelsat Ltd. Tuesday unveiled what its executive team will look like when it completes its $3.2 billion acquisition of PanAmSat Holding Corp.
Intelsat’s current CEO, David McGlade, will remain CEO after the merger. He plans to appoint James Frownfelter, PanAmSat’s current chief operating officer, as COO of Intelsat upon the sale’s closing.
Frownfelter will replace current Intelsat COO Ramu Potarazu and Intelsat Global Service Corp. president Kevin Mulloy. Those two executives have submitted their resignations effective Feb. 9 and Jan. 27, respectively.
Joe Wright, PanAmSat’s current CEO, will become chairman of Intelsat’s board after the sale closes.
