WE Announces Special, Renewal

WE: Women’s Entertainment will debut original special Vietnam Nurses with Dana Delany in August.

Delany (ChinaBeach) will host the one-hour special, which focuses on young women sent halfway around the world to serve in the Vietnam War.

The Rainbow Media Holdings LLC-owned network also said original series Secret Lives of Women will return for a second season in August with 12 new one-hour episodes.

WE described Secret Lives as a “documentary-style series that takes a very real look at women who dare to shock, challenge and push the envelope when it comes to today’s cultural norms.”
