Treasure HD to Cover Dick Clark Auction

Voom HD Networks’ Treasure HD will present live coverage from an auction of Dick Clark memorabilia presented by Guernsey’s Auction House in New York.
The Rainbow Media Holdings-owned service will debut an hour-long preview show featuring highlights of the sale, celebrity interviews and background information Nov. 25 at 1 p.m. (EST).
Then the auction will air live Dec. 6, with viewers being able to participate by phone or online.
“Dick Clark’s personal collection of memorabilia includes some of the most important pieces from the history of popular music,” Treasure HD executive producer and director of programming and production George Lansbury said in a prepared statement.
“Coverage of this landmark event will not only appeal to the 70 million Americans who share a passion for collecting, but also to music and pop-culture enthusiasts everywhere,” he added. “This latest auction from Treasure HD reinforces the network’s commitment to deliver compelling, original programming appealing to collectors worldwide, while contributing to our vast growing library of HD programming.”
