Sundance Takes The Green Online

Network Redesigns Web Site, Sets Rollout of Environmental Mini-Site

By Multi Channel News Staff -- Multichannel News, 3/7/2007 10:27:00 AM

Sundance Channel will roll out a mini-site March 26 in support of three-hour environment-oriented primetime block The Green, which is set to debut on the network April 17 at 9 p.m. (EST/PST).

The mini-site -- aimed at encouraging user interaction and building a community -- will include an eco-blog (http://www.sundancechannel.com/blogs/treehugger) by the producers of environmental Web site TreeHugger, which debuts this week and will be updated daily.

Sundance debuted the redesign of its main site Tuesday, split into two areas: Vision, dedicated to highlighting and extending the network's on-air content; and Voice, which “provides an interactive destination.”
