Fox News assigned another executive to its planned business channel, naming Brian Jones senior vice president for Fox Business Channel.
Jones, who had been a VP of Fox News Channel, will manage newsgathering and be responsible for the staffing and operations on the production side, in addition to the acquisition of financial data, the network said.
Jones will report to Fox News executive vice president Kevin Magee.
Fox News has said that it plans to flip the switch for Fox Business Channel during the fourth quarter.
