StreamLiner 2000, Armada Intelligent Asset Manager Support Cable Operators’ VOD Deployments

Harmonic announced the availability of its new StreamLiner 2000 video-server family.
The video-solutions vendor said the new product line, used in combination with its Armada intelligent asset manager, “can support any content demand profile, easily scaling to accommodate more programming and concurrent streams.”
Harmonic added that the video-on-demand gear was built using off-the-shelf hardware from IBM and Hewlett-Packard.
