Hispanic Kids’ Network Taps Brightcove Platform

Hispanic children's television network¡Sorpresa! launched a new broadband-video service using Brightcove's Internet-TV platform.
Fare from the network -- owned by Jupiter Content’s Firestone Communications unit -- will include short-form video clips from award-winning Puerto Rican-produced preschool series Tienda Mágica and El Planeta de Remi, as well as anime series Hello Kitty.
¡Sorpresa! has carriage deals with cable operators including Time Warner Cable, Comcast, Cox Communications, Charter Communications, the National Cable Television Cooperative and Cablevision Systems
