History Announces New Fare for 2Q
By Multi Channel News Staff -- Multichannel News, 4/9/2006 2:15:00 AM
The History Channel will debut four new series during the second quarter.
The A&E Television Networks-owned service’s new fare kicks off April 18 with Mega Movers, a look at relocating historic structures such as a century-old church, a Victorian-era house and a 900-ton brick building.
May will bring Mega Disasters, which “visits the sites of previous disasters and examines the potential for history to repeat itself.”
Two series will debut in June: The Revolution and American Eats.
The Revolution goes back to the roots of the American Revolution, covering the signing of the Declaration of Independence, victory on the battlefield at Yorktown and the adoption of the U.S. Constitution.
And American Eats will examine “the history, mystery and technology behind our favorite foods.”
