Weather Channel Cuts Home Depot Sponsorship Deal

By Linda Haugsted -- Multichannel News, 8/23/2007 12:28:00 PM

Weather Channel Interactive cut a deal with Home Depot on an ad campaign which includes the launch of a Web microsite devoted to home improvement projects.

The site is a companion piece to the on-air network segment “The Home Depot Project of the Week.”

The site will include tutorials, shopping lists and videos to help users with home repair and remodelling projects. Viewers of the on-air segment will be directed to the microsite for specific instructions on their projects.
Both the microsite and the television segment are sponsored exclusively by Home Depot.
