HBO Sports will ratchet up its reality franchise series 24/7 next month in support of its Dec. 6 Oscar De La Hoya-Manny Pacquiao pay-per-view fight.
The four-part series, De La Hoya/Pacquiao 24/7, will debut Nov. 16 and will follow the two fighters’ respective training camps leading up to their welterweight showdown.
The series will air for two consecutive Sundays before concluding Dec. 4, two days before the fight. All four episodes will have an 11:30 p.m. ET encore play the evening of their debut and will be available on HBO On Demand.
De La Hoya/Pacquiao premieres 10 days after the conclusion of another HBO 24/7 series highlighting the Nov. 8 Joe Calzaghe/Roy Jones Jr. light heavyweight pay-per-view event.
HBO debuted the Sports Emmy Award winning series in April 2007 supporting the Cinco de Mayo clash between Oscar De La Hoya-Floyd Mayweather, the most-watched PPV event of all time, and aired it again last November prior to the Dec. 8, 2007 Mayweather-Ricky Hatton fight.
