Chiller Heats Up for Thursday Debut

NBC Universal Cable Horror Network, Companion Site Set for Launch

NBC Universal Cable wants DirecTV subscribers to be very afraid Thursday.

The programmer is set to launch 24-hour horror/thriller cable network Chiller on the direct-broadcast satellite service.

Video-on-demand and HD versions of Chiller will launch at a later date, NBC U Cable said.

Chiller’s companion Web site will also debut Thursday, in partnership with Lionsgate Home Entertainment's After Dark Horrorfest and Interactive Initiative.

NBC U Cable said horror fans will be able to sample exclusive scenes and clips from all seven After Dark Horrorfest DVDs online before their March 27 release date.
