Lifetime’s original movie Fab Five: The Texas Cheerleader Scandal on Saturday, Aug. 2, averaged more than 3 million total viewers, becoming the network’s top movie of the year among some female demographic groups.
The movie, starring Tatum O’Neal, Jenna Dewan and Ashley Benson, posted a 2.63 household rating and averaged 566,632 women viewers ages 18-34 (2.04) and 280,405 women ages 12-17 (2.63), tops for the year in those categories at Lifetime, the network said. Its totals among women 18-49 and 25-54 were second only to The Memory Keeper’s Daughter, the network’s most-watched original movie since 1995.
