Bruce E. Beard was named general counsel at St. Louis-based cable multiple-system operator Broadstripe. He was senior counsel with Chicago cable and telecommunications law firm Cinnamon Mueller.

Comcast

Pete Nemeth has rejoined Comcast as state director of government affairs in Indiana. Pete previously served as chief of staff to the Indiana Speaker of the House Pat Bauer.

Also, Comcast Network Advertising Sales has named Holly Miller vice president, advertising sales, central region, responsible for the company's national cable networks. She had been director, ad sales, at E! and Style.

CSS

Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast has promoted Steve Thomas to senior executive producer.

Disney-ABC Television

Disney-ABC Telelvision Group promoted Ann Lewis Roberts to senior vice president, Buena Vista Productions and head of alternative programming and development for SoapNet, and hired Adam Rockmore as senior vice president, marketing, ABC Daytime and the cable channel. Roberts had been VP, development at SoapNet; Rockmore comes from Calphalon, where he was VP, marketing and retail for the housewares marketer.

Also, Rob Gilby was named senior vice president and managing director, Disney-ABC International Television, Asia-Pacific. He had been managing director, Disney Channel U.K., Scandinavia and Emerging Markets.

Entertainment Studios

Patrick Mahoney was named senior vice president, digital media, at Los Angeles-based first-run syndication producer Entertainment Studios. He comes from ABC Television's Digital Media Group.

ITV

United Kingdom broadcaster ITV plc has named Peter Iacono president, managing director of ITV Worldwide, including its international exploitation and ventures divisions. He had been acting president, International featues at Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group.

LINEAR ACOUSTIC

Lancaster, Pa.-based digital broadcast sound solution provider Linear Acoustic has tapped Steven Glynn as production manager. He comes from Philips Medical Systems, Philadelphia, where he was materials manager for the CPET scanner manufacturing facility.

Logdog

Direct-mail logistics management company LogDog has named Robert L. Christian president.

Mixed Signals

Dan Donnelly was elevated to senior vice president, global sales and marketing at Los Angeles-based provider of digital content monitoring systems Mixed Signals.

mPRm

Los Angeles-based entertainment, lifestyle and technology public-relations firm mPRm Public Relations has elevated Alan Amman to executive vice president, chief operating officer.

MTV Networks

MTV Networks elevated Catherine Houser to executive vice president, human resources. She had been senior VP, HR.

Oxygen

Cynthia Chu was named vice president, chief financial officer at Oxygen Media. She comes from parent NBC Universal's Local Media division, where she was director, sales finance, responsible for 25 NBC and Telemundo owned-and-operated stations.

RCH

RCH Cable has promoted John Tidona to vice president, operations. He had been senior director, recruitment.

Starz Media

Gene George was named executive vice president, worldwide distribution at Starz Media. He comes from Regent Worldwide, where he was president.

Thornberg & Forester

Joe Glass has joined New York-based Thornberg & Forester to produce advertising, broadcast and interactive assignments for the multidisciplinary studio. He comes from J. Walter Thompson, New York, where he served as senior producer.

Turner

Turner Entertainment Networks named John Heath senior vice president, finance. He was VP, finance.

Also, Turner Sports has named William Funk senior vice president, sports sponsorships and sales. He had been VP.

Vozzcom

Vozzcom, a Coral Springs, Fla.-based broadband fulfillment services provider, has named Mark Ecsedy vice president, mid-Atlantic region. He was promoted from area manager.

Warner Bros.

Sonia Borris was named senior vice president, marketing and operations at Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Marketing. She was VP, marketing and promotions.

Weather

Natalie Allen has joined The Weather Channel as anchor of Forecast Earth. She comes from CNN.
