C-COR Completes Sale of Services Business Unit

$7M Sale to Source Broadband Services Originally Announced June 4

By Todd Spangler -- Multichannel News, 7/2/2007 7:24:00 AM

C-COR completed the sale of its outside-plant and installation-services business unit to privately held Source Broadband Services for about $7 million, a deal announced June 4.

The transaction closed June 29, C-COR said.

Source Broadband is an Atlanta-based provider of fulfillment and technical services to cable operators. CEO David Levitan previously was president of C-COR’s broadband-network-services group before leaving the company in February. He also worked at Scientific Atlanta and CableMatrix Technologies.

C-COR will retain its network-design and integration business, which the company will combine into a professional-services group under the broadband-system-solutions organization.
